with over 5 years of experience in writing and editing, saachi gupta is a 22 year-old liberal arts graduate based in mumbai. she started out as a contributing writer for gaysi family & the luna collective, and her work has since been featured in the juggernaut, vogue india, malala fund's assembly, & more. with a deeply honest voice and a penchant for vulnerability, saachi's writing primarily centers culture & identity, with intersectional feminism at its core. her work always has community at its heart: in 2020, she founded & was EIC of push up daisies! - a platform aiming to normalize conversations surrounding grief & loss. in 2021, she founded & headed moonflower COVID relief to provide monetary support for marginalized communities across india during the COVID-19 crisis. the organization received press from rolling stone india, hyperallergic, and malala fund.

saachi's first poetry collection sad girls bleed hot words was published in 2022 by bottlecap press & revolves around themes of queerness, trauma, addiction, & sex. currently, she is working as a creative writing mentor with scholastic writer's academy, and a features intern with vogue india.
